PROGRAM COMPONETS

Sending your child to our Camps  is sending your child to a place where we will look after them and care for them as if they were our own. Your child won’t just be a number at Camp Cooper, we only have 110 campers at any one point and we ensure everyone feels part of the Camp environment. Our staff will look out for what makes your child special – it might be their kindness, it might be that they put others needs in front of their needs, it might be that they work hard to be a great football player, it might be that they make their bed every day without being asked – no matter what your child does, our staff will look out for what makes your child special and will tell them.

Outdoor Adventure

The ultimate outdoor challenge, designed to develop leadership & teamwork. Campers will face challenges such as archery, high ropes, fire building & raft building.

OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT SCOTTISH CAMPS

The safeguarding of children and teenagers is of paramount concern to the International Summer Camp UK. We take the responsibility of looking after children extremely seriously. Above fun, friendship and everything else great that we do at Camp, safety and safeguarding is of the highest importance. We run a full safeguarding training session during our staff orientation week. We talk through our safeguarding policies and procedures and make sure everyone is clear on them.

We have over 20 years experience running summer camps and we fully appreciate and understand that being away from home can be a daunting experience. We ensure that every child is welcomed to a positive and friendly environment.

Every child and teen at Camp is treated as an individual – every worry, concern and problem is listened to by their own counsellors. We make a concerted effort to look out for campers who are struggling to adjust and give them extra attention and advice to help.

Our staff will be excitedly waiting camper’s arrival at Edinburgh Airport and bring them right to Camp. On arrival day, we have staff stationed at the International Arrivals terminal throughout the day. Our staff will have information on every camper arriving on each flight and we will know which campers should be coming through the gate and at what time. Our staff will be wearing bright Camp Cooper t-shirts and have banners which means that we can’t be missed. We will let parents know that their child has arrived safely at Camp. We will accompany all of our campers through check-in and to airport security to make sure they are safely on their way home.

For non-European campers, RAINBOW PROJECT AGENCY by Camp Cooper is an accredited organization that is able to offer visa support letters.
