Improve your Russian with Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of almost EUR 15 billion provides opportunities for over 4 million EU citizens to study, gain experience, intern and volunteer abroad. Liden & Denz (PIC 909919753) has developed 4 courses at its Riga campus for which Erasmus+ funding is available.

Who can apply for funding?

Teachers, teaching assistants, professors, trainers and administrative staff of organisations active in the fields of education or training. In order to secure the funds, your institution needs to file for an Erasmus+ grant at your national Erasmus+ agency first. If your institution needs help in applying for these grants, please contact us. It is important to understand that only teaching institutions can apply for grants, not individual members of staff.

Why study Russian in Riga with Erasmus + funding?

Riga is the only capital city in the EU with a majority of Russian speakers, making it the ideal destination for full immersion Russian language training, both for teachers of Russian and other staff members of educational institutions. The table below offers an overview on Erasmus+ funded programmes at Liden & Denz Riga. Note that only language teachers may apply for EPR3 and EPR4. Administrative staff working in schools, private or public, and which are involved in international projects, exchanges or dealing with multi-cultural issues or students can apply for Russian programmes EPR1 or EPR2.
