Rainbow Project Agency is delighted to announce a new partnership with St Andrews’s College Language Schools. St Andrew Schools offer summertime, residential English language lessons with a cultural programme, for young learners aged 11-18, across Scotland and England.

The school teaches 6 levels of English, Elementary – Advanced (CEFR A1+ – C1+).
At the end of the course every student will be awarded a personal certificate. On the certificate will be:
The college offers Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) from Trinity College London at any of the centres. The Trinity package includes organisation and administration of the exam as well as 2 additional preparation lessons.
While academic staff are able to advise on appropriate levels, it is advisable for candidates to have some knowledge of the exam before enrolment. St Andrew’s College Language Schools do not take responsibility for exam results.
There are typically 10-12 lessons per week.*
Each lesson is 1 hour, thirty minutes long with a break.*

We also encourage, where possible, our lessons to take place in the real world, “outside of the classroom”. This helps the students to develop confidence using functional language and learn about the UK and the places they will visit.

Although students have a course book, emphasis will be on conversation based tasks, through group work and pair work.
Students can advance their vocabulary and “Use of English” through our workbooks, activities, and class projects.
Students will be active participants in their own learning through discussions, self-assessment and personal learning plans.
The English lessons are taught by English language teachers who love teaching and want to help our students learn.

The SAC football camp is held at our City of Glasgow College campus which is situated in Glasgow city centre.
The Football & English programme consists of 15 hours of training per week, combined with 15 hours of English per week so that youngsters can enjoy mixing football training with studying the English language. The students will also benefit from weekly presentations about health, nutrition, fitness, being a footballer in a foreign country and the importance of English by qualified football professionals.
Included is also a visit to the famous Celtic Park stadium and a chance to train at Celtic FC’s first-team training ground.
The coaches and assistants are accredited and qualified to work as coaches by UEFA and all have extensive experience as football coaches to children and teenagers in a multicultural training environment. The coaching takes place at Celtic FC’s Glasgow Green training ground. Coaching sessions will be delivered by Celtic FC Academy coaching staff and SAC will provide basic Celtic FC training kit for all students on the programme.
The College offers a variety of sports, arts and crafts, performances and games that will meet the needs of all students.
You will also have the opportunity to have walks and visits to explore local areas and attractions.
St. Andrew’s College staff will guide you on excursions so that you can enjoy yourself and learn about the the history, culture and customs of the places you visit.
