We work with you, for you!
Seniors who want to learn or improve their French enjoy taking classes in the morning, discovering the Southern environment in the afternoon and having free time at night.
At night, students will be housed in studios with all mod cons in one of our club residences from which they can reach downtown Antibes and beaches on foot.
In addition, Cannes (6 miles) Nice (12 miles) and Monaco (30 miles), are all places of interest to make your stay as fulfilling as it is enjoyable. There are no French classes at the weekend when the reception team will accompany an excursion instead.
Are you on vacation in France out of season? The Côte d’Azur enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year.
20 classes a week, Monday to Friday
Seniors are placed according to their level with adults over the age of 30 and due to the small class sizes, learning is almost akin to one-to-one tuition.
Students will learn essential grammar skills, develop their essential oral communication skills and familiarize themselves with French culture.
Discovery of the region and its cultural richness
After their classes, in order to familiarize themselves with French culture and refine their learning whilst enjoying their free time, seniors are offered the opportunity to explore the region and its cultural diversity.
On the program: 3 half-days of excursions or activities during the week. For example, students may visit towns and tourist sites such as Monaco, Saint-Paul de Vence, Grasse and Cannes. They may also take part in tasting sessions, including French wine and typical products of the gastronomy of Provence. Activities continue into the weekend with a full day excursion to neighbouring towns.
The program of activities gives participants the opportunity to experience France from the inside.
Choosing to study French in Antibes means experiencing the carefree way of life in one of France’s most beautiful regions.
The language stay in Antibes enables senior students to take advantage of the sunshine, sea and the tranquillity of a small town where everything is reachable on foot, but most of all to explore all of the emblematic towns of the Côte d’Azur (Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Saint-Paul de Vence…).
Students can discover the art of Mediterranean living, an extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage on which the greatest artists have made their mark, and try typical Provençal gastronomy in authentic restaurants.
Antibes is the ideal base for exploring the region’s cultural diversity and learning the language in optimal conditions.
Our partner school offers a syllabus that is carefully designed to meet the needs and interests of the over-50s.
Small group sizes (maximum of 6 people) facilitate better communication and greater bonding between learners. This is a real advantage that helps to break through shyness and accelerate the development of oral skills. At the end of classes, the program continues with Excursions activities that immerse students in Provençal culture and give them the opportunity to continue to practise French in a fun and informal way.
